With the wedding date just about one month from now, we are getting some questions about attire. Since the wedding is on a farm and it is going to be in the middle of September, we really want everyone to be comfortable, warm, and happy. The atmosphere that we are looking to have is very casual and country-ish. Blue jeans or chinos, a button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and a pair of sandals is fine with us. We are trying to encourage women not to wear high heels as it will be pretty difficult to walk around the farm in them. Flats or sandals would probably be a better choice. Since the ceremony starts around 2:30 pm it could be pretty warm and sunny, but into the evening it could dip down into the 60s. So it might be a good idea to bring a shawl or a sweater for the later part of the day. And if anyone wants to bring a bathing suit and a towel there will be some time for swimming in the pond.
